25 Days of Giveaways: Day 1 by SKIN Organics
Today marks Day #1 of our 25 Days of Christmas Giveaways!!! Woohoo! I am so excited for you guys to win some fantastic natural and health-inducing prizes just in time for Christmas! The first company taking part in our giveaways series is Skin Organic Body Care. Stephanie, natural body care guru and owner of Skin, has been present here at Healing Cuisine many times in the past. We are happy to welcome her back for another giveaway of her top notch products!
Take some time to read through my reviews of Skin's products in the past:
Healing Calendula Salve
Lemon Lips Lip Balm
Daily Greens Antioxidant Face Cream
Lemon Aid Face Wash
Skin's products use only the most pure ingredients, like coconut oil, citrus fruit extracts, olive oil, and and green tea. I use Skin for all my face cleansing needs because of the low score rating their products receive on the EWG toxicity scale. I love the way Stephanie's products make your skin look and feel. After a few days of use, your skin is more radiant, pores are smaller, and you feel hydrated and smooth! And that goes for every item in her product line, from face to feet to hands to lips!
Today, Stephanie is giving away TWO winter inspired treats from her product line: 1 jar of Claramint Lip Balm + 1 jar of Peppermint Foot Rub. It is the perfect Christmas gift pack for one lucky winner!
Skin's Claramint Lip Balm will take care of your chapped lips all winter long! The flavor is refreshing, and the balm leaves a light natural gloss to your lips that lasts for hours. Skin's Peppermint Foot Rub is the perfect solution for dry tired feet in this cold winter weather. Give your feat a refresher with this invigorating foot softener! It works wonders, and a little goes a long way!
You'll want to follow Skin on Facebook to stay updated with their online discounts and deals. Stephanie posts her coupon codes there. And if you live in the San Fransisco area, you can visit Skin's newest brick and mortar site (2764 Octavia) for in house specials! Right now you can receive FREE SHIPPING all December long from purchases made from the San Fran location (call 415-926-8475 for details)!

I like to keep it simple, I have a wreath I made last year that I hang on front door... and a simple tree.
ReplyDeleteA tree adorned with white lights and a cinnamon stick simmering on the stove top :)
ReplyDeleteHand-knit stockings for the kids, and a nativity scene that was handed down from a family member...
ReplyDeleteTree cut down from our land, covered wIth ornaments that aren't fancy or expensive but mean a lot to us. And my kids' artwork. Toasting marshmallows in the fire, hot cocoa and coffee from the sauna stove. Cozy and simple.
ReplyDeleteI put up lights all over the front of my house and make some kind of Christmas arrangement for the front porch with lights, an old sleigh, and pine branches from our trees. Inside I'll have decorations or nick-knacks that my kids at school have given me that year, and also put up the tree.
ReplyDeleteI love decorating the tree and burning scented candles.
ReplyDeleteFavorite way to decorate for the holidays is making/getting new ornaments for our tree each year :) and making wreaths :)
ReplyDeletecozy and simple! :o)
ReplyDeleteBring out all the tubs of Christmas decorations and let the Kids open them and go wild putting santa's all over the house! :)
ReplyDeleteI decorate throughout our house with pinecones, greenery, berries and candles. I also have a nativity scene in the central rooms of our house. My favorite though, is the nativity on our front porch of Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus, cutout and hand-painted by a friend.
ReplyDeleteWe go and pick out a real tree...smells great and then do some mini lights, and put the ornaments on from years ago. Even ones that I made as a child...which are falling apart. Then we sit back and inhale the tree.
ReplyDeleteI love putting up our glittery nativity scene. It's just perfect!
ReplyDeleteI like a Christmas tree. I think that's the classic, best smelling way to do so!
ReplyDeleteI have a lot of decorations, but it ends up being so cozy and peaceful. I love to sit in my living room with only the lights from the Christmas tree and candles. The mantle is elaborate with stockings, garland and poinsettias. I love it!!
ReplyDeleteOur Charlie Brown Christmas tree! And stockings and breaking out the holiday coffee cups.
ReplyDeleteI love to hang greenery with white lights over archways, maybe add a few Christmas ornaments to jazz it up! No tree for us this year with an almost walker in the house :)
ReplyDeleteI love turning up the Christmas music and decorating the tree!
ReplyDeleteFirst thing to get out is the Christmas music! I enjoy decorating the buffet with the nativity scene that we have had since we were little!
ReplyDeleteAfter Thanksgiving meal is over, we turn on the Christmas music, light a fire, and put up and decorate the tree!
ReplyDeleteSimple and natural. A garland with little white lights on the outside fence. A wreath on the door. A small tree with handmade basket ornaments ( I'm a basket weaver). And my wooden Nativity. I put out one piece a day during Advent.
ReplyDeleteChristmas tree with all the ornaments made by my grown daugthers
ReplyDeleteI like putting up the stockings. They just have so much potential to be filled.
ReplyDelete:)
Last year we just decorated the mantles (our small house for some reason has two fireplaces) with garlands and ornaments, so that they would be enjoyable but out of reach for our then 2.5 year old and infant, but this year the now 3.5 year old can pull things off the top of the mantles if she stretches, so we are planning on decorating with toddler/preschooler art projects, then getting a small tree a week or less before Christmas (so that it isn't a month of crazy) and decorating it with just toddler-safe ornaments.
ReplyDeleteSimple greens for the mantle, white lights on a "real" tree - Simmering cinnamon sticks and other spice blends in a tea kettle on our furnace.
ReplyDeleteSincerely,
Laurie

I have a huge Christmas Village that I put on display with a train going through mountains! It's my favorite.
ReplyDeleteBeing a Canadian, I hope you plan to have a few giveaways that I can participate in......
ReplyDeleteStocking hung on our fireplace and the sound of christmas music playing.
ReplyDeleteI love to hang the ornaments my boys have made even though they are 19 and 16 years old now and they think its corny
ReplyDeleteFor the person asking for more Canadian giveaways -- Healing Cuisine is a USA company and the majority of the products I endorse are found here in the USA. I have left it up to each individual company for the 25 Days of Christmas Giveaways as to where they want to ship their products to. There are a few companies who have agreed to ship to Canada, so keep an eye out! I'm sorry that not all are US+CAN. Thanks for being involved here at Healing Cuisine! :)
ReplyDeleteNice and simple... But meaningful. A nativity scene and small tree.
