It's pure stevia blended with a xylitol/vegetable glycerin filler to make it easier to bake with. I assume you used a full on pure stevia powder? Oops, sorry about that! :) You can read more about all the ingredients I use in the Ingredients & Resources tab at the top of the Healing Cuisine by Elisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07169717165496053539noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-607730351949527940.post-79597847927320257472012-07-02T00:02:23.392-04:002012-07-02T00:02:23.392-04:00It's there a typo ? I, too, am originally from a small town and my family back home always has trouble finding stevia and other healthy ingredients. You can use xylitol, about 3/4 cup. You may need to add a little extra coconut oil to bind the dough together. The stevia I use I order online: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/Healing Cuisine by Elisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07169717165496053539noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-607730351949527940.post-19074513262219205302012-06-21T15:24:03.399-04:002012-06-21T15:24:03.399-04:00I am from a really small town, where I can only fi...I am from a really small town, where I can only find one brand of stevia which has a horribly bitter aftertaste! Could I use powdered xylitol in this recipe instead? If so, how much?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-607730351949527940.post-40076328458018585332012-05-08T00:05:44.105-04:002012-05-08T00:05:44.105-04:00Hi Lindsay! Coconut flour is mostly fiber, so if you are going to use it in recipes in place of other flours, you'll need to add a lot more liquid to the recipe and use about half as much coconut flour as the recipe calls for. If other nuts are okay for you, you can instead use other nut flours, Healing Cuisine by Elisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07169717165496053539noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-607730351949527940.post-32761071830648582592012-05-06T08:42:29.137-04:002012-05-06T08:42:29.137-04:00Thank you so much for your blog!
